In November, local resident Kate Lee will be doing some voluntary work in Ghana. Kate will be writing a future strategy for supporting families with children with cancer in a country where childhood cancer treatment is not free and only a small percentage of Children are ever even diagnosed.
As part of this Kate will be visiting hospitals and villages. While she is funding the trip herself, Kate is looking for donations of second hand children’s books & colouring sets to take with her, or small cash donations to buy sweets or Travel cards for families.
Anyone that would like to help all support would be gratefully received. Please drop in at 2 church road (top of the A45 underpass). Anything that can’t be use will go to support children with cancer here in the UK.
