This year’s church fête is on Saturday 25th June on the recreation with events starting at 9:30am with the football competition, with the fête starting at 12 midday, culminating with the community gathering from 6pm to 10pm.

The fête opens at 12 midday, running through to 5pm. Come along and enjoy the food, drink and stalls, such as Games, Raffles, Cupcake Bake-Off, BBQ, Cream Teas, Maypole Dancing, Bouncy Castle & Slide, Jimbo Children’s Entertainer, Brass Band, Cake Stall, Bar plus more…in the late afternoon there will be a mini disco.
The CONGA (no not that dance, but a COmmuNity GAthering) will start at 6pm, featuring a Steel Pan Band, an Auction of Talents and later, live saxophone from Tim Hammond.There will be food and drink to purchase (the bar remaining open with lager, wine, cider, soft drinks and real ale) but feel free to bring your own food and drinks if you prefer (non-breakable tableware where possible please). Entry to the CONGA is free, although a donation is suggested of perhaps £5 per family.
