Scouting is coming to Ryton-on-Dunsmore, so why not come and join the adventure every Wednesday at the Village Hall.
The Scouting organisation has been around since 1907 and we now have our own Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop here in Ryton. Scouting is no longer just for the boys either, so come on girls, why don’t you come and see what you are missing out on.
For more information on the Scouting movement see their website.
Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family, are usually aged between 6 and 8 years old and a group of Beavers is called a Colony.

The Scouts are usually aged between 10½ and 14 years old and a group of Scouts is called a Troop.
